Siegel New Dean of School of Business

Donald S. Siegel

Donald S. Siegel has been named the next dean of the School of Business. He comes to us from the University of California, Riverside, where he is a professor of entrepreneurship and associate dean for Graduate Studies at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. He previously served as Professor and Chair of Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy. Siegel will start July 1st, succeeding Dean Paul A. Leonard, who is returning to his academic appointment of professor of finance. Leonard will serve as Dean Emeritus and as the point person in the president’s office for shepherding further efforts related to the new School of Business building.

University at Albany Interim President George M. He has championed several initiatives that will have deep and enduring impacts for faculty and students over future decades.”
