Cost and Value
Managers value high quality at reasonable prices. The
University at Albany is a tier-one research university center with state
of the art facilities. The School of Business has successfully reached
AACSB accreditation standards (the highest international standard for
business curriculum and schools) for more than 35 years. AACSB
accreditation teams constantly review curriculum, faculty, student
services, school mission, and research contribution and ensure that
their member schools provide students with the highest quality degree
possible. Tuition rates are currently set by the State of New York at
$296 per credit hour (for NYS residents). An MBA degree at other
AACSB-accredited schools in the Capital Region costs three to five times that
of the University at Albany.
But value is not about cost alone. The individual student advisement,
the small class sizes, the personal relationships with faculty, the
dedicated program director, the innovative program offerings - these all
support our motto that we offer private school attention at public school prices. You don't need to have an MBA to see that obtaining your
MBA from the School of Business at the University at Albany is the
definition of value!
