English Instructors Almost Sweep the College of Arts and Sciences Annual Teaching Awards!

This semester, the English Department’s strong teaching record was recognized through three awards singling out three exceptional instructors.

Professor Paul Stasi was named one of two full-time faculty recipients of this year’s College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching.

The co-winners of the College of Arts and Sciences Daniel and Wendy J. L. Keyser Teaching Award, which recognizes outstanding instruction by CAS graduate students, were both English doctoral students—Instructors Audrey Peterson-McCann and Eugene Pae.

All three English awardees were recognized at the College of Arts and Sciences’ Full Faculty meeting, held on Wednesday, November 28th.

We are truly honored to be represented by such strong teachers and mentors. Congratulations to Paul, Audrey, and Eugene for these well-deserved recognitions, and thank you for helping make visible the English Department as a place where UAlbany students of all levels can enjoy excellent classroom and mentorship experiences!
