William Kennedy, fiction and nonfiction author and former faculty member of UAlbany's Journalism Prgram will present a lecture entitled, "William Rowley: Journalism and Social Justice" on William Rowley, a former editor at the Albany Knickerbocker News and founder of UAlbany's Journalism Program. The lecture will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Recital Hall, in the Performing Arts Center on the uptown campus. It is free and open to the public and sponsored by UAlbany's Journalism Program in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
