What is the TRIO EOC Program?
The federal Educational Opportunity Centers Program (TRIO EOC) provides admissions and financial literacy counseling to qualified adults who want to start or continue their college studies.
TRIO EOC aims to teach participants about their financial aid options and basic financial planning and to guide them through the application process so that more adult learners enroll in higher education and achieve their educational goals.
TRIO EOC is one of eight Federal TRIO Programs, a collection outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities, so these students can progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
The TRIO EOC Program is separate and different from the SUNY Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) Program. You may participate in both the UAlbany TRIO EOC Program and the Capital Region EOC at Hudson Valley Community College or Schenectady College and Career Outreach Center.
What services does UAlbany TRIO EOC provide?
