BS in Nursing
If you are a licensed or license-eligible registered nurse, you can begin your BS in Nursing degree at UAlbany. The program will provide you with critical knowledge in various areas of public health, such as epidemiology and health policy, as you enhance your nursing career.
MS in Population Health Nursing
If you have your BSN, you can delve further into addressing the social determinants of health with a MS in Population Health Nursing. The expertise you'll gain in biostatistics, systems thinking and planning, and social and behavioral aspects of health will help you to become a leader in community and public health nursing. You can submit your application to start online coursework.

Student Research, Scholarship and Creativity Shine at 2nd Annual Showcase
UAlbany held its second annual Showcase Day, which celebrates academic excellence, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The day-long event featured poster fairs, performances, discussions, demonstrations and exhibitions that reflected new and original exploration of topics in STEM, arts and humanities, social sciences and the professions.

Spend the day at the University’s second annual Showcase all around the Uptown Campus, including the Lecture Centers, Campus Center, libraries, University Art Museum, ETEC, the Performing Arts Center and podium academic buildings.
MD/MPH student Labika Baral’s Study Abroad Experience
Labika Baral is interning in Pokhara, Nepal with the Infectious and Communicable Diseases Hospital under the Ministry of Social Development and Health for Gandaki Province. For her internship, she is evaluating the implementation of the electronic medical record system.
