Students, faculty and staff will hold pep rally for UAlbany men's basketball team
ALBANY, N.Y. (March 13, 2007)
UAlbany senior guard Jamar Wilson and Coach Will Brown board the men's basketball team bus to depart for the Great Danes' second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Background: UAlbany will face No. 4 seeded Virginia in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 12:15 p.m. Friday in Columbus, OH. The Great Danes, who are seeded No. 13 in the South region, reached the NCAAs for the first time last season.
This season, the Great Danes (20-9, 13-3) tied the program's record for conference wins and won its second consecutive America East Championship after defeating rival Vermont Catamounts 60-59.
