Reid Named Director of Finance and Administration at UAlbany School of Business
ALBANY, N.Y. (October 16, 2007) -- The University at Albany has appointed Tyrone Reid as director of finance and administration for the University at Albany School of Business. Reid has worked within the state university system since 1989, first with the office of student accounts as well as the office of financial management and budget at UAlbany, and later SUNY's Student Loan Service Center. Reid has spent the last seven years as an associate accountant for the University at Albany accounting office. He earned an MBA in information technology management from the School of Business in 2000. He replaces Ellie Moore who retired after more than a decade with the School of Business.
Reid serves on the board of directors for the Troy Boys and Girls Club where he also coached basketball, and is president of the Top Fliters Golf League in Schenectady. He managed and coached baseball at the Armory and Spring Little Leagues in Troy. He is an avid campus volunteer, having participated in commencement and campus clean-up projects.
