Experts Advisory: UAlbany Expert Tackles Celebrity Endorsements of Politicians
ALBANY, N.Y. (November 8, 2007) -- Communications professor Kelli Lammie offers insight into the effects of celebrity endorsements on politicians and their campaigns. Her expertise also includes how late-night comedy and television dramas shape Americans' political attitudes.
Lammie's other research interests include the role of news and entertainment in American political life. Her teaching expertise includes political communication, issues in mass media, public opinion, persuasion, and popular culture and politics. She received her doctorate from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
