UAlbany Lacrosse Faces Johns Hopkins to Kick Off ESPNU Coverage
Midfielder Jordan Levine and the rest of the men's lacrosse team will open their season at Johns Hopkins on ESPNU.
ALBANY, N.Y. (January 18, 2008) -- The University at Albany men's lacrosse team will face No. 3 Johns Hopkins on Saturday, Feb. 23 to kick off ESPNU's regular-season college lacrosse schedule.
The Great Danes are ranked 12th in the nation in Lacrosse magazine's preseason rankings. UAlbany secured its fourth NCAA appearance in the past five years by winning the America East Conference championship in 2007. The Great Danes posted a school-record 15-3 mark and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals against top-ranked Cornell in a memorable overtime battle.
