This course is an advanced seminar in sound design, audio art, electronic musical
composition and related fields, with an emphasis on evaluation and discussion
of creative studio work produced by students. A continuation of studies initiated
in Mus 426/Art 426/Art 526 with a focus on advanced techniques and aesthetics.

Designed for those already possessing knowledge of advanced etching and lithographic printing techniques. The printmaker will learn to expose and process film and apply the resultant image to an etching and/or lithographic plate. Progress is reviewed in individual conferences. Students will undertake multiple-plate printmaking techniques. Limited to six printmakers. Prerequisite: Knowledge of etching and hand lithography techniques.
