Biomedical Sciences Master of Science Degree Program

Applicants to the M.S. program are expected to hold a baccalaureate with a combined total of at least 42 credits in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. A minimum of 18 credits in one of these areas will be required.

A minimum of 36 graduate credits is required for the M.S. degree.

    • Bms 665   Current Literature in Biomedical Sciences - participation begins in spring semester; must be taken each semester thereafter for 0 or 1 credit; can be taken for credit a maximum of 2 times (0 - 2)
    • Bms 670   Responsible Conduct of Scientific Research (1)
    • Epi 503     Principles of Public Health (3)

  4. Satisfactory completion of a master's major field examination
     
  5. Satisfactory oral seminar and defense based on approved master's thesis of laboratory research
