Business Analytics Master of Science Degree Program
The Master of Science in Business Analytics is a full-time one year 30 credit program for students interested in learning the latest techniques for analyzing large data sets to gain business insights. It includes 27 credits of coursework over the fall and spring semester and a field research or consulting project worth 3 credits. Students who are missing the prerequisite courses will need to take 5 credits of admission deficiency course work prior to starting the Fall semester. These courses will be waivable based on previous coursework or departmental exam, or if required, they will be available during the summer prior to full-time study. The Business Analytics program is suitable for recent undergraduate students, individuals changing careers ,and for those looking to upgrade their skill set to include the theory and practice of business analytics.

- Itm 610 Forecasting and Panel Data Analysis (3)
- Itm 621 Decision Analytics and Optimization (3)
- Itm 623 Design of Experiments & Data Quality, Security and Privacy (3)
- Itm 624/Pad 624 Business Dynamics: Simulation Modeling for Decision-Making (3), or approved elective
- Itm 626 Analytics and Visualization (3)
- Mkt 680 Selected Topics in Marketing: Analytics for Strategic Marketing (3), or approved elective
Culminating Requirement:
- Itm 690 Research Seminar in Information Systems and Business Analytics (3)
