Dream of traveling to exotic places, broadening your horizons, testing your personal mettle, studying French in Paris? UAlbany�s fall Study Abroad Fair will offer information on 56 Study Abroad programs in 25 countries. Add to that the offerings by the SUNY system and this number expands to 300 programs in 50 countries. Find out all you need to know about studying abroad on Wednesday, Sept. 29th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the LC Concourse.
Students can opt for semester, yearlong or summer programs � there�s something to fit every need and desire. Costs are comparable to spending a semester on campus, but there�s the additional opportunity that students can take advantage of � that of enriching their education, expanding their understanding of other cultures, increasing their self-awareness and building their resume.
Kayti Marr,�04, was a Spanish major at UAlbany when she went to Seville, Spain in the fall of 2003. The opportunity made a tremendous difference in her life. �It exposed me to a different culture and opened my eyes to world views. It also gave me insight into how the world viewed me as an American. It was a very humbling, yet thrilling experience.�
