President Philip Praises Chancellor Zimpher's 'Ambitious Course' for SUNY's Future
ALBANY, N.Y. (January 10, 2012) - University at Albany President George M. Philip released the following statement today in response to State University of New York Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher's "State of the University" message given on Monday at The Egg Performing Arts Center:
"Chancellor Zimpher's plan for the future of SUNY emphasizes streamlined resources, improved technology, and increased accountability. She charts an ambitious course that reaffirms the relevance of the University at Albany's central mission of excellence, affordability, and greater access to education. UAlbany looks forward to working with Chancellor Zimpher in realizing this vision."
