ALBANY, N.Y. (November 16, 2015) — This morning, the Office of Communications and Marketing unveils an enhanced daily email report, aptly entitled “Today at UAlbany.” It is designed to deliver even more University news, accompanied by photos and videos, while keeping the campus community abreast of important alerts, announcements and the day’s scheduled events. This new format will replace the former “Today’s News, Events and Announcements.”
“Today at UAlbany” will provide a broader look at the excellence that exemplifies our comprehensive public research university. By spotlighting more of our outstanding individuals and institutional initiatives, “Today at UAlbany” supports President Jones’ mission to tell the University’s impressive story in a bigger and better way.
The email will seek to find news across the disciplines and units that can be shared with a greater audience, so please be sure to keep your individual sites updated with important news and events. As always, it is highly recommended that any events being planned are added to the University events calendar, as these happenings will now be displayed prominently each day for the campus to see. However, please note that “Today at UAlbany”will not be distributed on major holidays or during the intercession period.
Be sure to watch your inbox daily to discover what's happening “Today at UAlbany,”and let us know what you think!
