Sneak Peek: Blackstone LaunchPad Makes Campus Center its Home
ALBANY, N.Y. (January 27, 2016) – Blackstone Launchpad, a platform that gives our student entrepreneurs a leg up on building a business through individualized coaching as well as seminars and training sessions, has set up its office in the Campus Center.
The multidisciplinary experiential learning program will have its official opening today, hosted by President Jones and featuring Michael Nash, executive chairman of Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies, and a 1983 graduate of UAlbany.
The Blackstone LaunchPad platform will connect UAlbany's student body to other campuses, the business community, and entrepreneurs throughout the state.
In October 2015, the Blackstone Charitable Foundation announced a three-year, $4.5 million partnership grant with UAlbany, Cornell, NYU, Syracuse University, and the University at Buffalo to create an impressive entrepreneurial environment for New York’s university students.
