Faculty and Staff Honored

University recipients of the 2014-15 Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence recently enjoyed an informal reception at the President’s residence in recognition of this honor.

The Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence are presented annually to faculty and staff in six categories: Faculty Service, Librarianship, Professional Service, Scholarship and Creative Activities, Teaching, Adjunct in Teaching (biannually), and Classified Service.

The honor provides system-wide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement and encourages the ongoing pursuit of excellence. Each recipient was nominated by colleagues and evaluated by peers appointed to a campus selection committee.
