Cultural Carnival: Highlighting the Richness of UAlbany's Diversity

ALBANY, N.Y. (April 21, 2016) – Sunday’s Cultural Carnival, held under sunny skies, showcased the rich diversity of the University at Albany campus.

An interactive celebration that has taken place at UAlbany for more than 20 years, the Carnival is designed to promote a greater understanding of, and appreciation for, different cultures through food, music, games, and dance.

The carnival was organized by more than a dozen student organizations, drawing from international, cultural, gender and sexuality, and faith-based student groups.

The event was sponsored by the Student Association’s Office of Intercultural Affairs.
