Carnival-Themed “UAlbany Live” Leads Series of Activities for Students Through Finals Week

“UAlbany Live" invites students to come together for a carnival-themed celebration on the State Quad Field, Friday, April 29 from 4-7 p.m.

ALBANY, N.Y. (April 26, 2016) – As the spring semester winds down, students are invited to come together for a carnival-themed celebration on the State Quad Field, Friday, April 29, from 4-7 p.m.

The annual event, called “UAlbany Live,” will offer a variety of fun activities including a zip line, rock wall, mechanical bull, inflatables, carnival games, giveaways, and much more.

Free carnival-themed meals will also be served featuring sausage & peppers, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken, corn dogs, vegetarian & beef chili, vegan wraps, snacks, beverages, and desserts. Ten free meal tickets will be given to students (with valid ID).

“UAlbany Live” is sponsored by the UAlbany Programming Board, Department of Residential Life, and University Auxiliary Services (UAS). It is open to all members of the University community.

Following Friday’s carnival, students can also take a break from studying for finals through the following events:

Stress Less UAlbany (Thursday, April 21 – Thursday, May 12)

Cookie Day: Good Luck on Finals (Wednesday, May 4, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Food for Finals (Thursday, May 5, 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)
