Students Display Their 'Great Dane Gratitude' with Fun and Flair
Albany, N.Y. (May 6, 2016) — With the flick of a pen and lots of dramatic flair, more than 1,200 students gave a big "thank you" to donors and other supporters who have enhanced academic, recreational and cultural programing at UAlbany.
The 2nd annual Thank a Donor Celebration saw hundreds of students sign and pin a card of appreciation on the "Wall of Gratitude." Many students also took advantage of a photo booth to demonstrate gratitude in their own individual styles.
Like last year, the event provided an opportunity to educate students about just how important donor support is to enhancing their educational and cultural experience at UAlbany. Among the benefits are scholarships, lecture series and artistic exhibitions.
