ALBANY, N.Y. (May 9, 2017) — On Tuesday, April 25, Interim President James Stellar and Interim Provost Darrell Wheeler presented the President’s Awards for Exemplary Public Engagement to five member of the UAlbany faculty and their community partners. The awards honor outstanding efforts to uphold the University’s commitment to public engagement.
This year’s recipients are Breathing Lights; Building Professional Learning Communities to Improve Student Achievement; Lani Jones of the School of Social Welfare; Healthy Historic Walking Paths; and New York State Kinship Navigator Demonstration Project.
