Alan Chartock has been chosen to receive the 2006 Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Teacher from the SUNY New Paltz Alumni Association. Chartock, president and CEO of WAMC/Northeast Public Radio, is professor emeritus at the University at Albany.

Netherlands, Dec. 13-15.
Lahiri, Kinal Tapped for
Symposium
Distinguished Professor Kajal Lahiri and
Professor and Chair Terrence Kinal, both of the
Department of Economics, are general chair and
program chair of the 27th annual International
Symposium on Forecasting to be held in June in
New York City.
