Local and state government officials, as well as UAlbany alumni join the University to dedicate the site of the new School of Business building. The new facility will provide a significant boost to the School's faculty and staff in their growing recognition as leaders of one of the top public business schools in the northeastern United States, and in their efforts to attract accomplished academic and scholarly talent.

Background:
The 2008-2009 New York State budget earmarks $54 million for the University at Albany's new School of Business building. The state-of-the art building will incorporate classrooms, technologies and research space for the ever-changing needs of the modern business student.
