The conference is planned for October at the University at Albany, and will bring together researchers from across the SUNY system who study the general topic of the functional effects of hormones.
Experts on a wide variety of subjects, including progesterone and early development; estrogen; the effects of pollutants on disadvantaged groups; and adaptation to psychologically stressful events, will present their findings.
Faculty members from seven UAlbany departments and nine SUNY campuses have been invited as expert speakers.
Frye received a grant from SUNY's Conversations in the Disciplines (CID) program to fund the conference.
