Counseling and Health Center Hosts Open House for University Community
Tours of new facilities, giveaways highlight Sept. 11 welcome event

The Open House will offer students and other members of the campus community the opportunity to visit the new state-of-the-art facilities and meet Counseling Center and Health Center staff.
The Counseling Center will highlight the variety of programs and services, including the Sexual Assault Resource Center, the Middle Earth Peer Assistance Program, Project SHAPE: Sexual Health and Peer Education, and our campus Social Norms Project. Free and confidential online mental health screenings will be available to interested students, and the �Save-A-Life� suicide prevention training program for faculty, staff, and student leaders will be showcased.
The University Health Center will provide tours and highlight services, including the pharmacy and women's health center. Learn about other services available at Patroon Creek, including an allergy center, X-ray, and urgent care facility.
Free food and other giveaways, including T-shirts, pens, magnets, and stress balls, will be available. In addition, the first 100 students visiting the Counseling Center will receive a free flash drive. Students who visit both the University Counseling Center and University Health Center will be entered into raffles to win $50 iTunes or Crossgates Mall gift cards. Winners will be drawn every 15 minutes, and winners must be present to claim their prizes.
Continuous shuttle service between Collins Circle and the Open House will be provided beginning at 4:45 p.m. A map and driving directions are available.
The University Counseling Center is located in Suite 104, and the University Health Center is located in Suite 200 at the Patroon Creek Boulevard location.
