Oliver Rice has received the Theodore Roethke Prize. His poems have appeared widely in journals and anthologies in the U.S.A. as well as in Canada, England, Austria, Turkey and India. His book of poems, "On Consenting to Be a Man", published by Cyberwit, is available in Amazon.com. Creekwalker released an interview with him in January, 2010. His online chapbook, Afterthought, Siestas, and his recording of his Institute for Higher Study appeared in Mudlark in December, 2010.
