Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy
The Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy coordinates the undergraduate and graduate programs of four schools: Criminal Justice, Information Science and Policy, Public Affairs and Social Welfare. Five undergraduate majors are offered: criminal justice, social welfare, public policy, political science, and a Faculty-Initiated Interdisciplinary Major with a concentration in information science.
These majors combine liberal arts studies with a focus toward public careers. Through study of how social problems are dealt with in the public realm, students become acquainted with both social science theory and acquire professional skills. These majors also provide an introduction to the general responsibilities of citizenship.
Courses in Rockefeller College are preceded by the letter R.
