They are trained to assist students on an individual and group basis. The course for which study groups are available to undergraduates are: A BIO 120, 121; A CHM 120, 121; A ECO 110, 111; A MAT 101, 106, 108, 112, or 113; A PHY 105, 108, 140, 150; A PSY 101; and A SOC 115. Candidates are expected to have an overall academic average of 3.25, be enrolled for 12 credits, earned a grade of A or B in the Study Group course, pass the personal interview, and secured two letters of faculty recommendation. S/U graded.
