Department of Educational Theory and Practice
Department of Educational Theory and Practice prepares educational practitioners and researchers with specialties in curriculum and instruction, language in education, science and mathematics teaching, and instructional design and technology. The Department's teacher education program provides professional education to graduate students leading to certification to teach mathematics, science (biology, chemistry, earth science, or physics), social studies, English, world languages (French or Spanish), and English as a Second Language.
