Approximately 82 percent of matriculated freshmen from the fall 2014 entering class enrolled for a second year of study.

Approximately 56 percent of matriculated full-time freshmen from the fall 2011 entering class received a baccalaureate degree within four years of study, and 68 percent of the fall 2009 entering class received a baccalaureate degree within six years of study.

Approximately 68 percent of matriculated transfer students receive a baccalaureate degree within four years of study at this University.

Student Consumer Information: "Right-To-Know"

Federal student disclosure regulations require the University to provide all prospective and enrolled students with information on subjects with which they should be familiar. This information can be found at www.albany.edu/ir/rtk.

The subjects include student financial aid (description of aid programs available, eligibility criteria, how to apply, the method of award and distribution, satisfactory progress standards, loan terms and deferrals); tuition and other costs; refund and withdrawal policies; information about academic programs, personnel and facilities; facilities and services available to disabled students; retention and graduation rates; and athletic program participation rates and financial support data. Also available is the University’s Annual Security Report which includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. Information regarding parent and student rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) with respect to access to and the release of student education records is also available.
