The award-winning film DARK MONEY, directed by Kimberly Feed, will be shown 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019, at Page Hall, 135 Western Avenue on the University at Albany Downtown Campus. Sponsored by the New York State Writers Institute as part of its Classic Film Series, the screening is free and open to the public. DARK MONEY (USA, 2018, 99 minutes, color) examines the impact from the flood of untraceable corporate money influencing the American electoral system following the 2010 Supreme Court ruling on Citizens United. Taking her home state of Montana as a case study, Reed examines the impact of the flood of untraceable corporate money that influences the American electoral system in the wake of the 2010 Supreme Court ruling on Citizens United. DARK MONEY film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
