ALL THE MORNINGS OF THE WORLD (French title TOUS LES MATINS DU MONDE), is an exquisitely detailed historical biography of the relationship between Sainte Colombe, the obsessive, almost mystical 17th-century baroque composer and cellist, and his protegé, Marin Marais. The film, based on the novel by Pascal Quignard, won seven César awards in France.
