Directed by Christopher Morahan
Starring John Cleese, Penelope Wilton, Alison Steadman,
Sharon Maiden

John Cleese plays Brian Stimpson, headmaster of an English school, who values punctuality above all else. En route to a prestigious conference where he is due to speak, absurd encounters conspire to delay him. The role is in many ways a reprise of Cleese's eternally exasperated Basil Fawlty of the hit BBC series, Fawlty Towers. Farce-specialist Michael Frayn (Noises Off) wrote the screenplay.
