George Kalamaras is the author of The Theory and Function of Mangoes (2000, Four Way Books), a collection of poems which won the Four Way Books 1998 Intro Series in Poetry Award and Reclaiming the Tacit Dimension (SUNY Press). He has also published two poetry chapbooks, Heart Without End and Beneath the Breath. His poems have appeared in many anthologies and journals, including Best American Poetry 1997. Born in Chicago, George Kalamaras received his doctorate at UAlbany and now lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he is Associate Professor of English at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. |
