Directed by Orson Welles
Starring Orson Welles, Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh

Recently restored and reedited to reflect Orson Welles's original directorial design, TOUCH OF EVIL is considered a noir classic. Set in a seedy Mexican-American border town, the film stars Welles as a corrupt police chief on the American side who uses an investigation to discredit a straight-arrow Mexican narcotics agent, improbably played by Charlton Heston, who puts his honeymoon on hold as they become embroiled in a frame-up.
