SCOPE:
The Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 require that companies register with the Securities and Exchange Commission before offering securities to the public, and that information about the companies be available to the public. In the late 1960's, the Securities and Exchange Commission, in order to make this information more accessible, arranged with Leasco Information Services to microfilm and distribute the required SEC filings.
The set includes and alphabetical file of corporate reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission by members of the American Stock Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, and "over the counter" firms. Reports include 10-K, 12-K, Proxy statement, Prospectus, ARS, 10-Q, as well as others.
