SCOPE:
Reproduces the "unique, comprehensive collection of official campaign pamphlets issued by the major political parties for each Presidential election between 1868 and 1900" housed in Dartmouth College. It includes the campaign books of the Republican and Democratic Parties, and copies of nearly all the pamphlets and speeches published by the national committees, highlighting the major issues of the day such as the free silver question and the annexation of the Philippines. Contains pamphlets and/or speeches by, among others, James G. Blaine, William Jennings Bryan, Carl Schurz, and James Garfield.
