Dr. Enobong Hannah Branch is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts. She received her Ph.D. from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2007 and her B.S. in Biology from Howard University in 2002. Dr. Branch’s research interests include race and ethnicity, gender, intersectionality, work, economic inequality, and education. Her current work explores the role of the intersection of race and gender in historically restricting the occupational opportunity of black women compared to white women and black men. Dr. Branch is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a recipient of the Fogarty International Fellowship. A native of Bronx, NY, she goes by the nickname of Anna and enjoys the Law and Order series, crocheting, and walks in the park.
