Milne
Alumni April Newsletter In this issue: * Facebook and Google Groups: PLEASE READ! * Sad News FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE GROUPS: PLEASE READ! It has come to my attention that there are Milne alumni are still not aware of our private Google Groups and/or private Facebook group. We have two Google Groups: One is the MilneSchoolAlumni group, a private group consisting of Milne School alumni who are interested in receiving notification of important Milne Alumni news or events. (If you are receiving email notification of newsletters, you are already in the this group.) The other Google Group is the MilneSchoolObituaries group, also a private group, consisting of Milne School alumni who wish to receive timely notification of obituaries of alumni, faculty, and family members. Both groups allow the owners to send messages to all alumni at once, something that is more difficult to accomplish using regular email programs because they generally limit the number of recipients per email message. The easiest way to join one or both of these groups is to send me an email with your request, and I will add you to the group(s). Be sure to indicate which group(s) you want to join and your preferred email address. As an "owner" of our two Google Groups. I would like to add additional "owners" in order to ensure that there are multiple alumni who are able to post messages, admit new members, etc., for future continuity. It's not a time-consuming commitment, so I hope that several of you will volunteer. Please respond by email indicating your interest. If you are a member of Facebook or wish to join, you can join our private Facebook Milne School Alumni group by going to https://www.facebook.com/groups/milneschoolalumni and clicking "Join Group" under the cover photo. Janis PAUL Jacobs and I are co-administrators of the Milne School Alumni Facebook group. We would like to add additional administrators to ensure the continuation of our Facebook group when we're no longer able to do so. There really isn't much to do besides approve memberships, and as long as someone has a connection to Milne in one way or another, that works for me! Again, please respond by email indicating your interest. SAD
