In this issue: * Whittlesey Excellence in Alumni Service Award * Sad News WHITTLESEY EXCELLENCE IN ALUMNI SERVICE AWARD As many of you know, I was the (very proud) recipient of the 2024 Whittlesey Excellence in Alumni Service Award at the annual University at Albany (UAlbany) Alumni Association Awards Gala on April 20th. This award was based not only on my alumni service to UAlbany but also my Milne Alumni volunteerism, which acknowledged the significance of The Milne School in UAlbany's history.  Judy

Gloria Ruth Dugan, mother of Daniel DUGAN III, '64, David DUGAN, '64/'65, Michael DUGAN, '66, and Deborah DUGAN, '72, passed away on March 24, 2024. Beatrice Klein, the mother of Deborah KLEIN Goldberger, '75, and a supervising teacher in the French department at Milne for many years, passed away on March 30, 2024. Frances Elsworth, mother of Dean Elsworth, '67, Gary Elsworth, '71, and Wayne Elsworth, '72, passed away on April 8, 2024. Gretchen PHILLIPS Decker, '42, passed away on April 28, 2024. Mary SWARTZ Langer, '41, passed away on April 28, 2024. She was the mother of Dr. Robert Langer, '66, and Katherine Langer Bower, '68. Patricia CARROLL O'Rourke, '49, passed away on April 30, 2024. I have been notified that Dr. Nicholas DeLuca, former vice principal and principal of The Milne School, passed away on April 21, 2024. I have no further details at this time. Please note that I rely upon a search for "Milne" at legacy.com and input from other alumni for this information, so if you become aware of someone who has passed away, please let me know. If a name is underlined, it represents a link to the obituary.
