Alumni July Newsletter Dear Milne Alumni and Supporters, In this issue: * Good News (from Anita Harris, '66; Jill Susser, '66; and Marina BARELSKI Demarest, '68)! * Sad News GOOD NEWS! From Anita Harris, '66: "Hi, and happy summer! Thought you might like to see a blog and video clips from HarrisCom's June event on 'How to Get Press in the US and Around World.' We had a great audience at the Cambridge Innovation Center, and I thought speakers Richard Anderson, Edna Kaplan, and Todd Van Hoosear did a wonderful job of explaining how to work with reporters and editors in an ever-changing media world. Please email me if you'd like to view a forthcoming video of the entire panel discussion...and do let me know if we can be helpful any way." To see the announcement and what was included, click here. Thanks for sharing, Anita! From Jill Susser, '66: "After 43 years of teaching junior high school art and math, I have become a licensed NY real estate agent beginning a new career in sales." Best of luck to you, Jill! From Marina BARELSKI Demarest, '68: "I have some good news to share: Marty [Demarest] and I were married on 4/27, 50 years after he proposed! 'Mr. Demarest' was my English student teacher in the fall of 1966. We were together for 3 years, then parted ways, only to find each other again -- many years later. I finally said, 'Yes.'" Congratulations, Marina! SAD NEWS Thanks to all of you for your interest in Milne Alumni activities.
