Fossieck Scholarship * Sad News NOVEMBER 2nd UALBANY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT LUNCHEON Nine Milne alumni, together with two spouses, enjoyed a luncheon provided by the UAlbany Education Department and shared their memories of Milne. Lindsay, '76; Fred Bass (and wife), '59; and Mike Brodie, '67.  THREE NEW FEATURES ON OUR WEBSITE AMONG OUR "DIGITAL SELECTIONS" There are three new features on our website among our "Digital Selections" here: 1. Records of The Milne School, 1890-1977 2. History of The Milne School, 1845-1977 3. The ability to search all Milne documents on the main digital-selections page (see link above). Once you reach the search results, you can do a manual search for your search term(s) if necessary. Try it -- it's fun! DR. THEODORE H. FOSSIECK SCHOLARSHIP If you, as a Milne School alumnus, alumna, or faculty member, have a direct descendant attending or planning to attend the University at Albany as an undergraduate for the upcoming school year, application may be made for the Dr. Theodore H. Fossieck Scholarship by completing the application here. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Brooking, Scholarship Coordinator, at 518-442-5478 or [email protected]. "Established by Dr. Theodore H. Fossieck, former Principal of the Milne School and member of the Education faculty, the purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a descendant of a Milne School graduate or of a Milne School faculty member.... The scholarship will be awarded to the first eligible person to apply during the application period, providing the recipient meets admissions standards." Please note that if sufficient funds are available, there may be more than one recipient. SAD NEWS Arthur Lawrence Hicks, '46. passed away on October 15, 2019. Joan PARRY Baim, a member of the Class of '58 and wife of the late David Baim, '56, passed away on October 30, 2019. Thanks to all of you for your interest in Milne Alumni activities.
