45 Gallon Planted Tank
We started a 45 gallon planted tank in the October 2020. We put about an inch of worm castings at the bottom of the tank follows with about an inch and a half of fine river gravel (about 40 pounds worth). We tried to start it off initially with a mat of small grass, but it didn’t grow. We tried another set of seeds and it grew very quickly; unfortunately the cow grass was much bigger than we thought and it makes the tank look a bit messy; we have to trim if often.
