SHUVAM CHAKRABORTY

About me

I am a PhD student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University at Albany, SUNY and a member of the Mobile Emerging Systems and Applications (MESA) Lab, working with Dr. Dola Saha and Dr. Aveek Dutta. I was a recipient of UAlbany Presidential Fellowship, awarded by UAlbany Graduate School, in Fall 2019.

I completed my undergraduate in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, India where I worked with Dr. Ananda S. Chowdhury on problems related to unsupervised image segmentation. During my senior year, I visited Virginia Tech during summer 2017, where I worked on clustering algorithms for low power IoT network under the guidance of Dr. Harpreet Dhillon.
