Creative Writing Assignment or A Shakespearean Dinner Story
Write a 5-10 page scene (prose, play poetry; it doesn't matter) that includes at least 2 characters from 3 different plays that we've read in class. OR, if you don't want to create your own scene, write a dinner scene involving 2 characters from 3 different works. The goal here is to demonstrate an understanding of Shakespeare's characters by placing them in an unique environment and then speculating how they might react to it and to each other. This is usually a fun assignment; make it so!
Be sure to include at least 2 characters from 3 different plays; that's 6 characters minimum. Failure to do so will adversely affect the grade for this assignment.
5-10 pages, double-spaced. due Wednesday, 10/27.
