The Master of Science in Educational Theory and Practice (MS-ETP)
The Master’s in Educational Theory and Practice offers cohesive programs leading to professional certification in mathematics, the sciences, world languages, English, and social studies. The program is approved by the New York State Education Department for Professional Certification for teachers with Initial Certification in the following areas of Adolescence Education: Social Studies, English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, or Physics.

This program is approved for licensure or certification in New York State and the institution has not made a determination regarding the educational requirements for any other state.
