UAlbany set to host America East Tournament
The University at Albany is set to host the America East Basketball Championship at SEFCU Arena, March 7-10. The UAlbany women’s basketball team will be the No. 1 seed in the 2014 America East Women’s Basketball Championship, while the men's team will be the fourth seed. -

Great Danes Men Win America East Title to Head to NCAA Basketball Tourney 2nd Year in a Row
The Cinderella Great Danes men's basketball team is again marching on to the NCAA Tournament. Sparked by Sam Rowley's 18 points, and timely shooting down the stretch from Peter Hooley, who wound up with 15, fourth-seeded UAlbany upset second-seeded Stony Brook on its home court 69-60 Saturday in the America East Conference final.
