Miriam Trementozzi is Named Associate VP for
Community Engagement
Miriam Trementozzi is assuming expanded duties as associate vice president for Community Engagement, with a joint appointment in the Office of the President and Division for Student Success, announced University at Albany Officer in Charge Susan Herbst.
Trementozzi's overall responsibility continues to be building bridges that leverage the University's diverse strengths across the campus and in the wider community. Her current leadership role in advancing strategic initiatives in the President's Office will continue and will now be complemented by related work in the Division for Student Success.
In that division, she will help build and sustain cooperative school partnerships and neighborhood relationships that are vital to the City of Albany's future as well as that of the University. The major focus will be on coordinating the development and advancement of the Albany High School – UAlbany Alliance for Young Talent. Trementozzi has played various instrumental roles with these outreach efforts in the past, and she will now assume formalized responsibilities for them under the Division for Student Success.
