Emergency Web Service

In the midst of Hurricane Katrina, Tulane University managed to stay in touch with its constituency via the Web even after the campus data center went off line.

Following Tulane's lead in preparedness, the University at Albany has set up an off-campus Web server as the University's alternate Web site should the campus's main Web site (www.albany.edu) become inaccessible. You can reach this alternate Web site by going to www.emergency.albany.edu (or emergency.albany.edu).
